I believe it’s impossible to do not love weddings at Mexican haciendas! Their deep colors,  smocked air early in the morning, huge trees and green fruit gardens, some times some animals walking at the backyard and above all, lots of old objects and details that remember to their visitors their history… All these things are really attractive to me and I can’t wait our next wedding photo session at hacienda! Well, here we have a love story of a delightful couple truly in love who already got married before our meeting with them, at their native town Birobidzhan – a part of Russia, very close to the border with China. Anna and Ilia contacted us by internet a year in advance asking to make them a wedding photo session in a mexican hacienda at Yucatan peninsula in December 2014 and as they were getting married just before their honeymoon in Mexico, they decided to do not organize any symbolic wedding ceremony. Anna simply asked us to document their love story with sincere images reflecting their love for each other. Should I repeat that we were more then happy to go back to this part of Yucatan peninsula where there is a lot of old haciendas hidden in the heart of the rainforest! At the end, Anna and Ilia finished by booking three days in different parts of the peninsula: Tulum’s cenote underwater photo session, fisherman village Puerto Morelos, Mexican colonial town Valladolid. We made a long road trip in our car with this guys but it will be another story! In this post, we are visiting a beautiful hacienda San Miguel. Here you may find some original ideas for your wedding in Mexico or even maybe for your wedding photo session at hacienda. Enjoy this couple and their sincerity! Hope you will like the visit to this magic world full of romance and nostalgia, world that lives in the past!
